| Got a call on Friday 12th Nov. A player had bent his wedge at the Barclays and he needs to have his PW fixed. The wedge arrived and it was bent at the hosel. It was a PX 6.5 flighted and we do not have stock. It will take a day to get it shipped and i have to think fast and act even faster. Ransacked the used shafts boxes and one shaft seems to fit the bill. An old Rifle 6.5 Spinner that has a SW sticker on it. check the length...good, its slightly longer than the PW. Check the weight 127g, check the flex. everything seems right. Had to make a fast decision to use the FLO instead of the OFL and the wedge was ready in 20 minutes. Purportedly it was in use about an hour after it was finished. Removed the Rifle sticker and left it clear, nothing on the stepless shaft. Here's the happy owner. last time i watched him on TV, i believe there is still no sticker on his PW still. one of the most significant repair and replacement this year and also got a signed Gmac cap from the man. | Lucky enough to witness the maestro at work at the time! I would have done the same thing, but I would need a day to come to that. Quick thinking, sounds knowledge and gutsy decision... | |

| what an amazing experience. The sort of thing to tell the kids! or just about anyone man, one of a kind.
It reminds me of the possibly comparable example of a tennis racket stringer doing a string job for a pro player in the middle of the player's match! | |

| yes we knew the day Chubby Chander inked the deal with SRI. not a great deal more money.
i think Gmac is a better ambassador for the brand for Europe and Asia then 3 foot Phil.
