iPhone alarm does not work in 2011

Ok Steve, nice job here. Thought we are way past y2k. Dunno that y2k.11 is gonna be trickier than thought.

For those of you who are using iPhone, no point messing with it. It's not your fault. Just wait for a couple days and it will fix itself. Come on, no one needs an alarm during the holiday. Get a life if you are working. It's a small problem blown out of proportion. At the mean time, set all your alarms as recurring and strangely, it will ring. Troublesome and annoying. But....

my alarm is working fine

iphone 3Gs ok too.

It affects single alarm for iOS 4.2 onwards

Thank god did not download the 4.2

Mine was fine... except i couldn't hear it cos i was simply passed out!!!
Woke up a coupe of hours later and it was still ringing

Yup! Single alarm didn't work

mine worked perfectly with os4.2.1 on my iP4???

I had to wake up every hour to check on my daughter's temperature as she is down with virus...

If it is a repeat(recurring) then it will work. Single alarm does not.

Apple has made alarm clocks look like rocket science

yes it was not a repeated alarm... its an alarm at time...

Only certain os versions are affected. It is not the phone issue but software

Nope... apparently, the problem will vanish on Jan 3rd.

I set 3 one-off alarms on my 3gs and thy didn't rang made me late for my game zzz...thn I test out and found out If I set the days of the alarm thn thy would ring..maybe it's just my phone
