Length of Alignment Sticks

Hi all,

May I know if there is a standard length for alignment sticks as I have a pair that it abt 52 inches in length.

the alignment sticks are about the same length as a driver. plus or minus.


unless u are like shamusan... then i saw those alignment sticks are correct...

do we use longer alignment for driver as compared to irons?

I tot, if its for driver, then the length will be at least the carry....so as to check if the ball is going straight.

Any reasons why it is 48 inches; I think if I am not wrong; it is also a unit of measurement for certain ruling.

In the internet, 44 & 48 inches are the common length; 36 inches is for junior.

Fatboy, just visualized if you have the sticks at the length of 52". Can you put it in your golf bag and zipped it up? Thats all there is to say.

Cannot lah and that's why I am asking which is the actual length of the alignment stick.

any longer it will not fit a golf bag when zipped up.

OK, Then I will convert mine to 44' since there is no difference with 48'.

52' is my raw length that I start with; I can modify it to shorter in length.
