| tried the tour wrap grips for the first time at range
when i first changed the grips on wednesday, they were very tacky but not so much now after exposing to the sun for 2 days in the car
looks like the grip on my badminton racket and sure feels like one
mabbe im not used to the tour wrap but i concluded that i still like the tour velvet more; it could be psychological but i think that the velvet has more "feel"
however, the tour wraps do help to reduce the abrasion on my hands
luckily i only put these grips on my long irons so i'll just continue using them

| mC's review of Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G
Sone time back, midst my usual web-surfing during the weekends to kill time, as usual, I visit the Golf Pride Website to see what is new. I was in luck to come across the launch of GP's Tour Wrap. As usual, description sounds amazing and I am almost sold to it.
Flashback to 2 years ago, before, I was using V55s and if you have been on the forum long enough, you would gave remember me swearing off them. From then, I gradually went gloveless and played my golf raw. I slowly felt that the V55s were too harsh and already started a search for other grips.
Back then Sergio won 2 events back-to-back and. I swore that if he won the HSBC Championship, it must be the power of the white multiple-compound and I will be sure to change to those. He did win the event and I was off the den to change all my iron grips.
Eventually, when I got my current set of MP68s, I did not want to go back to MCs as I desired for more feedback and feel. Master recommended BCTs and I thought I would never look back.
Fast forward to last week, it was time to change my grips and I remember about how good the Tour Wraps claim to be, how good idol played with those grips and how more desperate I became when I realized that there was no stock for the Tour Wraps. Fast forward to yesterday, managed to scrounge up even stock from the Den's supply and Idol's surplus. I got excited and hastily confirmed that I wanted those and popped it on with a guesstimate of the tapes. When I saw the whole set, I felt happy with myself and was excited about kicking Duffy's behind.
This morning, I managed to squeeze some time for secret mountain training.
Just this afternoon, I send my clubs again to the den.
Yup. Switching back to BCTs.

| MC failed to relate what i told him when he wanted the tour wrap.
but he came with his mum today and because she is an old neighbor i changed for him. otherwise i will leave him to throw his clubs further than his golf ball with those grips.
i tried it and i hated it. period...but i am sure some will like it but it just reminds me of a very cheap badminton racket.
