| Here is Tiger hitting driver on the range at PGA Championship. I slowed his swing down and couldnt believe the shaft just before impact. The fitters here may be able to explain more. I am thinking the camera maybe playing tricks or his shaft needs to be alot stiffer. I have seen this with Bubba Watson before. Unbelievable!! | |

| Wow.. When the shaft whipped early, it means shaft too soft? I always tot it is due to slowing down of swing speed that causes early whipping.
I tried the Casio Camera Demo at Toa Payoh on my iron & woods, the shaft whipped at the same point like the picture above.
Duno wat it mean. | |

| this is what is in TW's bag:
Driver: Nike SQ Dymo 380 prototype (10.5º with Mitsubishi Diamana Whiteboard 83x shaft) Fairway Woods: Nike SQ2 3-wood (15º with Mitsubishi Diamana Blueboard 103x shaft) and 5-wood (19º with Mitsubishi Diamana Blueboard 103x shaft) Irons (3-PW): Nike Forged Blades (True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts) Wedges: Nike VR (56º) and Nike SV (60º) Putter: Scotty Cameron by Titleist Newport 2 Ball: Nike One Tour
above info from a reputable website...
the white board is a high kick shaft and one thing about high kick shaft is when you wriggle the club, it feels softer than a low kick shaft. however one has to have high club head speed and great timing to load and unload this shaft at impact.
i suspect he has changed his angle of attack and the 10.5 is to compensate for the ball flight. he is also to have the same driver in different lofts.
i don't think the shaft is too soft for him. the slow mo camera shows visual that the human eyes can capture. his downswing is probably less than .5 second so from that position to impact is less than .2 seconds.

| Bro DGMan, Does Dymo 380cc means the driver is 380cc only? | |

| His 3 iron hits already so far + accurate.... IMO hybrid is meant to add some distance and forgiveness | |

| yes its a 380 cc driver head and Tiger's average swing speed is in the 120+ range. his PTR or power transfer ratio is in the 150+% and is to go over 160%.
stats are just stats in this case because at the end of the day, he was beaten by a man who many may not know carry 5i to PW....
here's YE Yang's Bag:
TaylorMade r7 Limited 9.5° 3-wood: TaylorMade Burner 13° 5-wood: TaylorMade V Steel 18° Hybrid: TaylorMade Rescue TP 19° Hybrid: TaylorMade Rescue TP 21° Irons (5-PW): TaylorMade r7 Wedge: TaylorMade rac 48° Wedge: Nike SV 58° Putter: Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball
Yes 5 i to PW...sounds familiar Slinger?

| In honor of Yang, I removed my 4i yesterday. Now, I'm also running a 5-PW + 52˚ and 60˚ clubs | |

| i believe his 5 iron is strengthening to a 4 iron loft. thats why he packs a 48 degree rac wedge.
possible loft: 5 (25), 6 (29), 7 (32), 8 (36), 9 (40), PW (44) and rac (49).
just an educated guess.
