| Hi ya Bring it back to the shop that you bought the iron from, they can help to polish away the scratch marks. So long as the marks are not on the face of the clubs... its ok Pippin | |

Given that I'm a landscape artist, I've carved new grooves in my irons. Sigh...

| wat type of scratch marks? if they are cuts, they maybe worth the trouble... if is only the sole turn dull, that comes with usage... u intend to do it very 3/6 months? The sole will be least I worry about for irons since they are suppose to contact the ground... | |

Hello All, usually for me, I use Autosol to remove ball marks etc. I don't think it would really remove scratches though, but it is really effective on ball marks, especially those resulting from using markers for ball identification. A word of caution, please be careful if your clubs have an exotic coating, e.g. black finish. Excessive force might remove the coating. Cheers.

| autosol is actually quite abrasive... i think if u clean your club face after every shot the ball mark should be quite easy to clean | |

I usually remove the ball mark using a cloth and water, just gotta apply strength when wiping them

| guys, trying to keep your irons free of blemishes is like trying to keep your car tyres or the soles of your shoes scuff-free. I used to be like this, got a set of Miuras also never use cos i scared to buah it. In the end, wife also say, but already dun use, might as well dun buy in the first place.
golf is a game where players have to hit through the ball and go through turf (which includes sand, stones, etc), so these scuffs are part of the game.

| sure anyone can use us the for the polishing...polishing service is the easy one....grinding sole is the tougher act and that is when we have time.
there are a couple of steps, first to grind off lightly all the marks and the sand them off and lastly using a cotton buffing wheel to bring back the glitter. all with power tools of course.

| ERIC, I have your set of Ikasu Raw, should I let it rust? Normally I don't really bother to clean it. It is rusting all over now. | |
