Who on earth will use a 3 day old putter for Barclays 2010?

As some of you may know that that we have a spot on the practice green at the Barclays to showcase the Zen Putters and the Zen-i.

26 putters and more than 60 Zen-is were issued to pros from European and Asian Tour during this tournament.

i got a call from the scorer of a player name Kang Kyung Nam last night and he was very excited to tell me that his player is using a ZEN ZAP Black.

this is the golfer who use his 3 day old putter which i fitted for him.





Considering he is using a putter thats totally new to him, i think its a very good result.

He is currently at 9 under and 3 behind the leader.

66 and 67 for 2 days is not bad at all....i remember him cos he asked me for all three covers - Silver, black and white which means he really love his ZAP. he is amongst the first to try the putter and asked me a lot of questions.

So for Zen fans, it just shows that your trust in the performance of Zen is shared by professional golfers too.

BTW, anyone can tell me where can get those PUMA shoes??? (I saw the polo and belt before in Tokyo but not the shoes. Korea?) Damn chio...

I tot for a guy who is ranked 500+ to be in T2 at this stage is phenomenal! Would be a waste to change anything to risk such a good chance.

Yeah, should he be taking that kind of risk. Just when he is so close.

This guy is in the papers today, he lost 10K cash and 40K watch in a locker room break in.
Wah must be a booster for him to get good finish to cover for his loss!

Hmm.....maybe the thief was trying to steal his putter, after having seen his putting earlier.

I shall have to try using the Zen stroke, aka instinctive putting, to try to negate some of the overwhelming Zen power!

Anyone knows if this Kang guy changed his putter on the last day as what DGman suspected? Very sad if he did cos I think his iron shots are damn good (looking at his stats and saw a bit of the day3 highlights on tv).
