When will Tiger take over the No. 1 spot again?

i don't think he will be able to take it before next year as he got to get swing right with his new coach n work on the change than my though i will think before the master next he will be already number 1 in the world. for me lee westwood just has a good season ...

Given the way he's playing now and the trend of the new up and coming names, my bets are on never.

As much as I rate highly the up and coming players e.g Poulter, Westie, Luke, Mcilroy, me thinks Tiger has got too much talent not to make a comeback and reclaim the no.1 spot.

Agree. In Ryder's cup, we saw a glimpse of his form when he chewed up his opponent on the last day.

He is improving, might not be as fast and as far as some of us hope for but definitely improving. Whether that is enough to win a tournament or not that remains to be seen.

It's a pity he won't be playing on singapore open... Cause I think now is the good time to get him into the game (he's appearance fee might be at the lowest now if any)

well, I look at it this way....with such limited play and mind-F which he is going thru, and still come out with pretty decent by other mortal golfers std, I think he is on the rite track and doing well.

Unless he sleeps around again like he used to, he will never be No. 1 .
