i didnt realise that you have (i think) a swing similar to RSS. In the sense your left knee doesnt move to the right.
did i just confuse all?? so is my swing similar or not similar to RSS? i'm I think its similar...if you look at other LSS u would notice their left knees actually point towards the right foot ma...your left knee is relatively in the same position as the start of your swing...i jus assumed this is the core aspect of RSS.. @S70B - heres hoping your 2nd fan doesnt fall off like the recent one ya take care man..

thats y i dun think he should change his swing. if he needs more speed, maybe it can be found elsewhere, cos i remember his swing as being damn consistent

| I like your downswing and follow through. You need more shoulder / hip rotation on your back swing. If you notice, your shoulder and hips stops rotating halfway back but your hands/arms continue to go back. | |

| Interesting thread to say the least. Not what I was expecting to see when I read through the 7 pages. Anyway back to the swing of SBH. This is my opinion and based on RSS methodology. I know I could fix this swing easily and get the extra 20 meters distance SBH wants. Due to the video being sideways and quality not so good, these are the best images I could come up with. Hope my explanation makes sense. The Right siders out there will know what I am talking about Here goes Image 1: The club travels too far behind and the club face opens due to the wrist "cupping" Image 2: The club face is way "open at the top" the wrist is cupped and he has no turn in his lower body. Image 3: The reason he has no turn in his lower body is because if he did turn anymore in this direction he would have a "massive" reverse pivot. When he turns more he will spray the ball everywhere as he will be reversed with his body shape. To prevent this he has a very short swing with minimal turn, thus no chance of generating power. Basically a safety move to prevent spraying the ball but the trade off is lack of distance. Image 4: He is pulling the ball which is because of above mentioned problems. Open club face makes ball go left so he has to come down a little outside and flip the wrists at impact to square up the face Image 5: Here you can see the big flip of the wrists There are 3 parts to fixing a golf swing. Firstly identifying the problem, secondly diagnosing why this problem is occuring and thirdly, fixing the causes of the problem. I'm gonna watch the end of the Ryder Cup and if time permits I will do another post about how to fix this problem Any questions please feel free to ask. | |

| Hi Paul,
Thank you for all the effort of loading the shots and pointing out the faults. I really appreciate all the trouble you took. Today, I tried swinging with less hand action and it works very well. It has better impact and the pulling are all gone.
But somehow I still could not use the core muscle to generate power. I guess this need time....

| Looks good to me. Swing is relax and smooth and contact the ball well with raw blade irons. - seebayho wrote:

seebayho - can you describe the ballflight and consistency of strike when you made that swing video? high? low? penetrating? fade? pull? push? hook? slice? This video was taken by my friend who is a club fitter from Uganda. He told me I should cock my wrist at the top to prevent me casting club.
The ball flight is not high nor penetrating it was quite straight with slight draw. As usual it is short of my desire distant ah... you must referring to my good friend Gau Sai Chua?
