| Burner plus supposed to be bigger, thick topline, more offset, higher launch, max forgiveness. The 09 Burners are supposed to be a "progressive set" meaning different irons look slightly different; the longer irons have thicker topline, wider sole and more offset; the shorter irons have less offset, thinner topline, and smaller sole widths and different bounce. Flight is supposed to be mid-launch. So, I think the Burner plus is supposed to be slightly more forgiving. But I am personally very tempted by the 09 burners; just trying to find out what shaft options they have. | |

| My fren just bought his burner plus. Very chunky and super thick top line. a lot of graphics. Yes, it is designed as a super game improvement set. | |

| Yup, i was researching online due to a little itch on my backside to change irons... and realise i quite like the 09 Burner too... So maybe can give Burner a consider too... Any comment on Tour Burner? Looks even better than Burner...

But the price is really so attractive leh!!! This is something which I'm learning: Don't buy clubs to suit your price. Buy clubs to suit your game.

Indeed, as would everyone else. But sometimes, you have to decide which is more important, i.e. game or pocket. And if you want to buy something to suit your game but can't afford it, then you should save up rather than spending on something cheaper which doesn't quite suit your game. Anyway, my 2 cents.

You can check out the TM website which compares all the TM irons.. the Tour Burner is less forgiving, with thinner sole line and less chunky but is more workable... i'm getting myself a set of the Burner 09 irons with 65 gm shafts... Oh yes, I'm on TM website these few days... just that the Isetan offered Tour Burner at $799 which sounds attractive... I have ask and the SE says the $799 (US specs) are gone, only left asia set for $999, and try to sell the 09 Burner for $1199(US Specs) and he keep saying US specs the shaft are stiffer, not like asia specs, used 2 months wpippy already, me nooob and my senses tell me, never believe a sales guys! hahah, I'm in sales too.
