A humbling experience at Poresia @ 18th

Don want to be overly draggy (hahah)....but just few noticable points:

The thrill of playing with proven players with proven records ie title holders…have proved to be abit overwhelming to me. One chap who was a bank's event winner (x2)…wow….must say that he is overall very solid player…..all aspects of the game. The lady player who is the defending forum winner of a charity event, she started off on the wrong foot but on back nine, she lived up to her reputation. The 2nd lady, lets put it this way, when she swing, I just want to ‘stare’…(hahahah)

I will like to thank Bro Poresia for arrangement.

Poresia golf course is indeed something that I have not experience till 18th Sept…….being a seasoned beginner where I felt I played quite a lot of games (clocked around 15-18 games a year), I thought I would have seen most course layout….but this, at least fm my plebian eyes…is vastly different.
Now the saddest part, I have both good and bad…..thought my irons and putting were decent. My drives….sigh…..should have just stuck to my self-proven approach ie, short drives is ok..just keep on fairway....really killed myself.

Most memorable….the par 5s in this golf course….honestly , this is my first experience where there are 2 water hazard before green……..wow…..totally enlighten by this…In fact, I have to say that I played my worst on par 5….(ie ave # over par ). Great enlightenment……!!!!! And am sure, it will serve me well for my future games regardless of where I am playing.

From the feedback, glad that most of u enjoyed the golf outing.

I enjoyed myself v much too despite that I didnt played well enough to give GR Saddam Team a good fight.

Must apologised for the rough alike tee box that defintely affects our GR Lady Champion for the 1st nine.

My flightmates were geting sick of my briefing at the tee box before every hole.....long par 4, left OB, right water hazards, better tee centre! 2nd shot need to cross water, haha

Looking forward to next poresia outing for GR Bros n Gals. Maybe this time, we saddam Bro Jimmy Choo. He shd be able to gv all of you a better fight.



Hope all of u agreed that the "Tian Lai" Bar Ting "Putting" fish is delicious!

Bro, I didn't go to the lunch doesn't mean my heart is not with you mah....
Let's team up next time in order for us to defend ourselves, this group of invaders is very strong leh

yeah .....it will be good to take strokes fm Poresia and JC, and then we team up...that will be great


in the meantime, I just need to get my brain straighten up.....the terrible par 4 (shortest one) and the par 5s....still haunting me...

imagine..the bloody par 4 (short one)...tee off sui sui....and then finish with 5 over....(FAINT...concussion) coz got suckered by the front red tee..which is near to the bloody slope.....to water.
