PostSubject: Using whippy club for tempo training   Using whippy club for tempo training I_icon_minitimeSun Aug 09, 2009 9:38 pm

hello all,

i have previously heard of people saying that they use a very whippy club to train their tempo, or even a weight tied to a string...

for example. something like this..
http://www.shapefit.com/golf-training-aids-the-whippy-tempomaster.html

however, i would like to know how effective is this for training tempo, and how it works?

cheers!

not really, considering how the marketing of this club described it as akin to a rock on a string.

however, the thing is, i'm just curious as to how it works to develop tempo, and whether it's effective.

i got a slight problem with swing tempo.

Tempo problems?? Go look for UL... work your way up from a waltz...
then step up to a foxtrot and then a tango... Very Happy

The whippy tempomaster good for "swingers"; not so much for hitters. It promotes a smooth swing. I think it's not bad; good for those "jerky movement golfers" hahahaa..There's a japanese version which is quite similar also...

That's a lot easier than it sounds. Swinging naturally without fear, that is.
