I believe she is working on core stability or in this instance... stability of the ankles and hips. I think athletes improve their core to reduce any unnecessary muscle vibrations when performing any specific exercises.

She does alot of weird stuff loh.. check out her 1 minute long golf swing.

I've seen some of these type of "training" on magazines..... good for core muscles!
