Hi all,

Great to see such support for the golfing scene here in SG!

I'm new to the golfing scene and looking out for lessons to take-up. Looking at either the traditional golf academies or golf simulation centres. Apart from the convenience with golf simulation (mostly in town areas), which is better in terms of learning the basics?

On a side note, I've just joined Grand Slam Golf Pte Ltd, which is dealing in corporate sales for golf apparels, travel gear and accessories (for brands relating to Pin High, Titleist, Foot Joy & Golf Links to the Past). Anyone who's keen on doing custom products for their company or are looking at getting apparels, golf balls etc. to sponsor a particular golf event, please PM me; I'll do my best to help Smile

I'm really green to this sport, as in, I haven't even gotten my clubs! Would it be appropriate for me to join then?

wah ..tis is first time I can remember someone ask 'if appropriate'

welll, lets see if the following mite help if you are hesitant:

1. Will you smile and laugh if someone tells you a joke?
2. Are you ready to view and admire others swings?
3. Does seeing someone hitting the ball way further than yours, leave you in awe?
4. Will you enjoy just relaxing under the stars and occasional moon , surrounded by awesome golfers with a small community of 'aspiring golfers' and potentially one seasoned beginner golfer?

If your answers are yes or maybe to all of the above, you are most welcome!!!

BTW, don worry about being new to the game, I am not new to the game but occasionally play as if I am new to the game and occasionally worse than someone new to the game

My answer would be yes to 1,3 & 4; I'm not so familiar with the mechanics yet so won't really know how to admire swings. But I believe this is something I'll grow into though!

I'd like to try dropping by this evening; how do I ID you guys?
