I'm excited that Singapore has its own golf forum!

Wilkang, I was introduced to the game of golf forcefully by my Mom's friend and hated it at first. She signed me up for 8 lessons with my golf coach Mr Poh Ah Hai at SRCC and after the third lesson I was hooked.

I am from an average income family so I played with my Bridgestone Eagle Clubs for 4 years. As itz expensive to play on the courses here in Singapore, i worked as a caddy at Tanah Merah Country Club and I get to play every tuesday while the crew worked on the course. Very Exciting times!!

Itz now been 13 years since I first started and I am still learning to play this game everyday and itz great that a forum like this exists so that we can learn and improve from each other.

wow..13 years..i am not even a fraction of that..

It doesnt matter 13 years or 13 months. Im just happy to have found a game where I can sit down and dream at work thinking about how I can improve my swing or game at the range or on the course later on.

where do you guys normally hit balls or play? Im usually at Bukit Batok, Toa Payoh or Green Fairways.
