Heart-wrenching pictures of a severely abused dog has made their rounds on the internet causing Netizens to call for action. Netizens appeal to people from the city Foshan in the Guangdon province of China to come forward with any information.

The male dog, Xixi was found wandering the streets of the city Foshan in the Guangdon province of China with its eyes dug out and genitals mutilated.

Xixi was taken for medical treatment by volunteers who saw him on the streets. Veterinarians who examined Xixi said it suffered external injuries from human abuse and because the wounds were not treated immediately, the wounds became infected.


Xixi in time developed leukemia and died in the care of the volunteers.

Netizens have voiced their disgust and anger at this situation. Netizen "Wild Nature" had this to say:

"How could one do such a thing! Beast!!"

The abuser has not been caught.
