Ferris, I agree with Slicer that going lessons is a must. Quick fixes and tips may help some people a bit but having proper lessons and training is key to a good swing. One bad experience by a coach doesn't mean lessons is a waste of time. There are quite a number of good pros here on the forum. You may want to look for them for a quick analysis and if you can click, then sign up for lessons. A number of the coaches offer free trial lesson. Go for it!

You can also post your understanding of a good swing here and the pros would be able to help you point out misconceptions.

Having lessons is essential but being able to absurd what you have been taught is a challenge.
So if you do go for lessons remember to bring a tape recorder of what had been taught for the day.

GO out there and beat them.. they bound to have one of those unlucky days and then you can capitalize on their sorrow
