Any CIMB World Card Member Here ??

Just managed to confirmed with CIMB that World Card members can play at Keppel. Conditions : There must be minimum 2 golfers, only weekdays, both can be CIMB Card Holders, free green fees but have to pay for other fees like caddy, buggy... This is definitely different from most other Credit Cards which stipulated that at least must have a couple of full paying guests. Any other CIMB World Card members here?

Im a member, but I tell you - their booking system leaves a lot to be desired.

My friends and I have booked on a number of occasions. It is such a pain in the @ss, largely because their staff are not properly trained. Not sure if the savings are worth our time and stress.

We have not used the golf bookings since the two bad incidents we've had.

Is it ' Can be CIMB card holders' or 'must be CIMB card holders' ???

I have this phobia with card privelleges.....last time AMEX, then chitty bang bang

to be fair, most of CIMB's deals are the real thing. No minimum paying etc etc.

Just a pain to organise. That said, that was some months back, and my friends gave them a real shelling! So perhaps things have gotten better.

KK, just change dept in your company. ANd you will get full board golf outings FOC without the headache of organising. It includes golf all the way to china....

I haven used it, trying to use it in Jakarta but the fact that there's no annual fees made it good enough to just get the card first and try figure out the rest later. haha

I've played at least 4 games sponsored by cimb within last 5 weeks. 2 at keppel and 2 palm resort weekend. The booking system has also improved. It's worth it.

Btw lion_iron has another thread pooling cimb cardholders to play in keppel on weekdays..

Just realised that they recently cancel the privileges for sub card holders for all courses in Singapore and reason being too popular so that rules me out. All other courses in Malaysia and Indonesia still good.
