what I heard on some media bites is that he used to play golf well when he started..
then some bad habits snuck into his swing and he compensates using some even worse habits until his swing is like that..

did you see the youtube about a japanese compact swing? the guy practice in a cramped apartment.. see if i can find it and post it here
