Chongqing hot pot

Hey anyone cool for Sichuan hot pot this Friday 25th Jun?
craving for it, haven been eating this for almost 3 years.

Venue: Chinatown shophouse (beside famous porridge place)
Timing: 730pm
Cost: ~$15 / pax

tot it was at tanglin shopping center.....they move oreadi?

It's another hot pot place not the same as tanglin.
Was there for hot pot, cost around $80/ pax and don't find it close to what I had in sichuan.

i was at there last sun for my kong pao frog porridge....dun see any hot-pot place, next to it is another geylang porridge shop....ok next time i walk a little further

btw, i waited 1/2 hr for my porridge...

The shophouse beside the partyworld building.
Don't know how to explain lor. Not really a classy place like tanglin joint
but was recommended by my friends to give it a try

ChrisD, is the soup pork based? If its' not, I join.

sorry a bit off topic: Anyone familiar with the hot pot places in Shanghai called the Dollar Shop? Wondering if there's an equivalent here.

I will check with them by tomolo.
Btw the hot pot I ate in Sichuan is very special.
After cooking your food in the hot pot,
Me and my mates will dip them in a small bowl of oil before we tuck them in.
Looks and sounds unhealthy but it's certainly delicious.
Somehow or rather they claim that it is heathly to eat in this manner.
