I tried and tried... but I find it so difficult to follow the topics discussed in the forum. I mean the serious ones. So many terms. I simply don't understand

Have to google. And then again, I don't TRUELY understand everything?

Yes, a lot of golf can be very technical...
Especially the part where we discuss about rules of golf (reading it only makes me headache, but die die has to understand also right ?), and also about the technicality of golf game and club it self. Shaft flex, kickpoint, length, loft, angle, compression, etc etc. Stim.

I have been playing golf for 15 years and honestly, I still do not understand some terms

Learning something new about the game, equipment and rules is part of the fun in this lifelong game.

Oh if anyone dropping by the den next week for fixes on their equipments (other than grips changing and minor reshafting works), please drop by after Monday.

Boss is away to inspect the putters and will be back in office only on Tues. Of course everytime when he comes back from his trip, there always something special... So those who wants new toys, drop by early!

quite a bit of touring pros don't understand technicality, does it matter? NO, all it matters is you are enjoying the game and can execute whatever shot you need. Thats why there are professionals like club fitters to help with that part of the game, there's coaches to help fine tune your swing, there's sport psychologist to help the mental side, and finally there's you to just play and have fun/post the lowest score to your ability.

Be patient padawan ... feel the FORCE and all will become clear ...

just joking ... in any case, in any hobby, there will always be those who like to discuss the technical side of things (and really enjoy it) and those that just enjoy playing ... golf is no different.

If you have the interest to read up about the various aspects of the game, your understanding will grow over time, but there is so much to learn and talk about, no one will ever manage to cover all of it. So don't worry if some things don't make sense, we are all still learning.

sometimes its better to just let your body feel and make the right adjustments


Too much reading tips on magazines and online can sometimes ruin your swing or cause u to keep changing ur swing everytime u go to range...
