| I know most shop ppl will say us specs longer in terms of the shaft but beside this any other difference between us and Asian specs for those who actually used before both versions of the same clubs. | |

| For iron sets, length, grip size and sometimes lie angles are different. | |

If you mean driver, then Japanese specs usually have the longest shaft. There is a Yamaha club with a 47 inch shaft. But there really is no saying that US specs have a longer shaft. Across the board, shafts have been getting longer on drivers over the years. You might be surprised to know that the "standard length" for drivers was actually 43 half inches even with the early metal woods. The with the advent of the modern graphite shaft it lengthened by half an inch to 44 inches until it now pushes 46 to 46.5 inches in the distance seeking drivers. Generally Asian specs fit our smaller build, shafts are of a softer flex and grips are smaller.

| I see. I am thinking to look for us or as specs for the woods and drivers. For one I can't hit properly so might not see any difference. And thus the question. | |

| Look to Drivers with a 45 inch shaft to make it easier for you to learn how to handle the club. Longer shafts adds distance only for some golfers, not all, since the longer the shaft the harder it is to to handle and be accurate. The reason why there is no USGA limit on the length of the shaft.
As for whether US or Asian specs, try the clubs out at the range and see which suits you and feels better.
