Epon Forged

anyone heard of this before? Heard it from a golfmate when I joined flight the other day. Anywhere that demo this in SG?

Here's my two cents worth on epons.

Epon irons are forged by Endo, which has factories in Japan and Thailand (that I know of). I've tried all their irons, including the new 502 and 302 series. The higher numbered series are supposed to be more forgiving.

If I had to pick one epon iron set, it would probably be the 502 although I am not a big fan of their feel. All their irons seem to have a distinctive 'tinny' or 'clicky' feel, not the soft/buttery feel that you might get from say mizunos or ikasus. That feeling is more apparent in the higher numbered series (i.e. 701 feels more 'tinny' than 302).

Personally, I think that they're somewhat overrated for the price, but that's just my humble opinion.

Yes, I believe so. Endo is quite large and they do forgings for many other brands.

The Callaway X Proto irons are also allegedly forged by Endo

Heard they forge the Nike VR Irons as well

I'm liking Epon as well.. Reviews and forums all seem to say they're easy to hit then yamahas and the endo forging is top notch. Think Sigma has them.. But not sure if got demo?

maybe u didnt get me .. I said I dont fancy the lines on the epon though I nvr doubted that quality must be good.. unfortunately , aesthetically they not my cup of tea.. and yes TS.. never say neverrrrrrrrrrrrr...haha..

Just like when I thought golf is never gonna something i will even consider playing.. and look at where i am now...
