| Anybody can recommend any good restaurants or kopitiams that serves good food there? Esp if we are using the highway thru Tuas instead of thru the JB city. Don't like to make too big of a detour.
Thanks! | |

| You may want to go to Bukit Indah shopping mall, there are many restaurants and kopitiams there and it's a short detour from the highway to Tuas | |

| Try Jin Long restaurant (crispy duck) along skudai main road. Turn right at T-Junction (turn left will lead you back to Singapore), after turning there are 2 rolls of shop houses. | |

| The road side bitter gourg soup restaurant about 1 mile up Jln skudai after the Senai junction serves very good local fare...many truck drivers, taxi drivers stop there for thei speciality.
Next one is you go down Jln Skudai in JB direction, turn off to PG Hiway in Tun Aminah( or Tuas) direction, after first junction, turn left into a narrow kampung road b4 Giant supermart. You will find a very local but excellent Chinese restaurants that serve popular kampung chickens, pork ribs , cat fish in dark soysauce/ginger....plus other delicious dishes at kampung prices.
If u drive up Skudia road, you will find many good restaurants but you will be travelling opposite directions so may not work out time wise.
JB town itself has many good restaurants, espeically in Sentosa/Tebrau market areas. | |

| Thanks! That's quite a few good suggestions. Maybe next time, I shouldn't be so kiasi and come home immediately.
I'll look at Google Maps to see these places and see how I can get to them. Update my GPS too.
Thanks again! | |
