Hi Guys,

I got caught in the torrential downpour yesterday evening while I was at the Mandai Executive.

Got my glove soaking wet and now after its dried out a bit, the flexibility of the glove has gone down (which I don't mind) but the main issue was that the grip is no longer tacky.

I just bought the glove thats why i'm interested in ways and means to try and get the same rubbery feeling back.

if it matters, the glove is a Footjoy spdr 2.

Regards.

that's a common problem with my leather gloves as well, esp the cabretta leather once it gets soaking wet... i also dun have a direct solution.

but what i do is i keep a FJ rain grip glove on standby, and when the skies open and prolong rain, i change gloves.
i find the rain grip glove are pretty decent, esp when wet and this help prolong the life of my leather glove.

I'm not sure but I think once a cabretta glove gets soaked, that's the end. I would really love to know if anyone has a solution as well.

I normally keep a rain glove in the bag as well, and also a towel to wipe off sweat and take off the glove in between shots to make sure it does not get soaked with sweat.

As for practice, I search for any glove that can be washed and does not cost too much ...

Solution to lessen the glove from being soak so much as in your current situation. Get those arm sleeves and they will soak 80% of your sweat from the arm. Just a suggestion.
