| Had the privellege to see so many players with super iron play....and then I look at mine.......(vomit vomit....blood also come out)
so, no choice.....I had exhausted the only option I know which is avoiding range..and still no improvement
So .....I decided to change fm graphite to steel shaft..........just like many of the better golfers.....(x-finger)....hoping that if i have what they have, I can at least play almost like them.....
Next week collect liao......with a tinge of excitement and fear.....

| Bro DS... you shouldn't think any less of your game if you play with graphite shafts. To me, what gets the ball in the hole counts the most. If you do it with graphite better than steel, what's the big deal? I can't wait to play with you again. Taking a short hiatus from golf for personal reasons - will explain in due course. In the meantime, when's our next makan session? | |

| WAH PIANG!!!!!
Called my fitter and was told....OK liao..come and get it!!!!! So going to collect later my re-shafted irons liao......excited and fear feeling all mixed into one..many questions in my head and heart
Can I handle such heavy shaft? Will my backbone break? Will my arm muscles tear ??? Do I need to allocate more money for tui na? Am I being unrealistic to think that I can swing better??? Am I just stupid?
So many questions....guess only time will tell.
Or rather....number of triple Bogeys will tell!!!!!

Duval bro, keep it simple [/quote] yes ...will definitely need to keep it simple..can you imagine...with such bloody idiotic swing...I actually ponder these for an 80m shot: 1. full swing....AW? 2. Punch shot...9 iron? 3. maybe need to consider the head wind....open face 8 iron? 4. hmmm...run the ball....8 iron??? Then result......duff the bloody thing.....landed 50m fm green.......%#$%%^#$$%$^##@$$# So...to improve.....I change shaft....hahahahah but all in all...yes will remind myself to keep it simple...I will talk to myself in the mirror before my next game...it goes something like this " Eh..you in the mirror....you think you good ah??? U suck ok..... shit....stick to one type of shot and just do it.....kiang chu hor...mai kay kiang ...GOT IT!!!! "

| You remind me of a good friend of mine, he plays to about an 8 handicap. He has alot of swing thoughts but he never decides on one before he hits his shot. I try to keep it as simple as possible for eg. I decide on the distance I am going to hit, lets say 80. I use SW or AW for 80 m, if there is a slight head wind, I will go with the AW as my ball goes lower. Look for a landing spot, go through pre-shot routine. Setup and execute. I do this exact routine on the range, practise and practise So you will not get confused. | |

| Yahooooooo.!!!! .....took the new shaft to game ....1st virgin game on course.....initially , quite uncomfortable...so shiny....coz not used to it mah....coz previously used graphite shafts.
After practising swing swing....and pray pray.....whack ah!!!!
Happy to say, it went quite well....full swing is ok....but ...not used to swing weight yet.....totally messed up my knock down ..either over or duff....sian
but should be better for next scheduled game in June....
Lesson learnt: To not be afraid to Venture to unknown terrain........
