How can Golf can be cheaper

My suggestions and to certain extent is just illusion...but to certain extent..can be true. Here are my Top 5:

#1 Use 2nd hand ball......coz 1st hand ball many times look for water

#2 Embrace that Zen-ed golf philosophy...whereby the belief that one can only have so many good shots....as such, don waste them at range and ramp up cost. Especially true before game, don do range

#3: Hold the belief that what you hit at range is what the number of shots you will make at the game....so maximum is to cap at <100. I cap it at 50 balls if I do go range

#4: More conventional approach......play on weekday

$5: and the ever popular conventional approach.....Offset the cost by betting

dont be a club ho. That 2 year old equip is just as good

build your set slowly, demo the clubs first, buy used, read reviews, keep a short list of the clubs you like and when they are for sale at a good price, get them. sell clubs you don't want to keep.

1. Join GR (free)
2. Look for second hand sets/clubs in Marketplace (up to 50-60% savings)
3. Look up for cheap cheap game (Bintan $50, Malaysia game etc)...
4. Join the GR monthly game and tompang someone by car pooling (minimum transport cost, and no need to buy car).

Can keep the cost down, really.
