| If money was no object, what equipment would you have in your golf bag? Mine would be something like this:-
Driver - Adams Speedline FAST 10 Driver 10.5* 3-wood - Callaway Big Bertha Diablo 15* Hybrids - TaylorMade 2009 Rescue TP #3 & #4 Irons - PING S57 Irons 5-PW Wedges - Titleist 2008 Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can Wedges 52*, 56*, 60* Putter - Guerin Rife Island Series Milled Putter Bag - PING Hoofer C1 Stand Bag Balls - Bridgestone Golf e6+ Golf Balls Shafts - whatever DGman says I should use
Is there a consistent theme in my bag above? Dunno, I just like the looks of all these items...

| Pretty much have what I want in my bag right now. Maybe some tour issue Vokeys grinded by Bob himself. Will be neat picking some info from him as I watch him work his magic too. | |

Any idea what the offsets are like on the B heads? Got 2 PROTOs and a tour issue Y-cutter. I am playing the Y-cutter now, keeping the PROTOs until I wear off the Y-cutter completely. The spin is simply out of this world! The 'B' heads virtually have just a tiny bit of offset to none. The 'C' heads, on the other hand, has 2mm of offset...

| thanks for the reminder, need to go swop out the Miura wedges for the Y-cutters. The Miuras have not enough bounce for effective wedge play on the Earth course of Jumeirah Golf Estates. | |

| Tour wedges (last year's groove) are now declining in value... They can't play that kinda groove anymore this year. Those rednecks always insist to play conforming equipment like the pros even when they don't have to. So, take advantage of it and start hunting for one. They simply worth it. Just make sure you get one one with the groove condition still 80%, at least. Also, if you have PING Eye 2 (old stuffs, try asking your grandpa... ) get on the band wagon and put it in eBay. They fetch good money a while back... | |

It is hard to tell unless you see it a good close up picture or, even better, see it in person... I'll probably go to Singapore during the Easter holiday or mid-year... I'll let you know. Any chance you'll be in Singapore any time soon?

Any 2nd hand golf shops to recommend? Maybe a custom fitter to fit me up? I need a driver that would get me distance and keep me on the fairway. The Earth course on the Jumeirah Golf Estates is killing me.

| Orlando has a few Edwin Watts and a Golf Galaxy but only 1 shop is worth checking out:
Edwin Watts Golf 7501 Turkey Lake Road Orlando, Florida 32819
http://www.edwinwattsgolf.com/RetailView?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&storeNbr=17
They have the whole range of TM staff players tour bags with their autographs displayed.
They have an in-house fitter too.
Don't bother about the rest. They are pretty miserably stocked. This one has just about everything you need.
...well if you are into 2nd hand gems like me, there's also a Golfsmith with alot of 2nd hand equipment but it really depends on your luck when you are there:
Golfsmith 4656 Millenia Plaza Way Orlando, FL 32839
If you are planning to play a couple of rounds, here are a couple of choices:
Orange County National: Both Panther Lake and Crooked Cat course are good. Huge muther $%^& range. They are playing Q school back here end of the year again. Pretty wide open courses compared to back home but pretty long so if your game is on, it can be a good day.
Grand Cypress: North, South, East courses are good but check out the New Course. Its 18 holes replicating St Andrews. All courses designed by Jack Nicklaus
If you can afford an hr+ drive, go to the World Golf Village in St Augustine. Play the King and Bear Golf course. The World Golf Hall of Fame is there too but unless you get in free or discounted (like me) not really worth a visit.
TPC Sawgrass is quite near there too but at USD$275 a pop, I felt it wasn't up to my expectations in terms of condition.

| Since my days are going to be stuck at the conference, i'm only going to be able to visit the shops in the evenings, but thanks for the heads up! | |

| I'm sure you can always find some time. Check out the Scotty Cams on display mate. They have the TW replica but its NFS. They have Machine Putters as well too but they are pretty ugly IMHO. Some TP Mills are available to be tried at the putting display but the price and feel is nothing to shout about. They also have TM Super Tri, Super Fast and mebbe by the time you are there, Super Deep in stock. Can always ask to try it out as they have 3 simulators to test it out. | |
