looking for kakis to take lessons together

Anyone interested to take golfing lessons? Been wanting to take proper lessons for the longest time but keep kenna twa by my friend. Would have gone for lessons myself a long time ago but honestly individual lesson fees are a bit too much for me.

My golfing background is that I have taken golf introductory lessons about 6 years ago when I was overseas followed by many rounds of practice at driving ranges. However when the lessons are conducted once a week at 45mins for each lesson and with a group of 15 students to a coach you can imagine the amount of real proper training time.

As such I think I need to start from the beginning again and take up on of those golf introductory lessons again and thus would like to find kakis to join me or to find a group I can join to learn together.

I am free from 7 onwards from Mondays to Fridays and 4 plus onwards on Saturdays. Sunday I am totally free.

I drive a company vehicle so I'm pretty much open to any location. The only issue I foresee is we need be agreeable on a particular coach to take lessons from though.

I am really really serious about this. Hope can find some people to join together then faster can start lessons.

My recommendation is that you sign up with star golf, they maintain a mailing list and will add contacts into the mailing list.

Oh I can just leave contacts with golf academies to see if they can fit me into groups one ah? Thanks for the heads up about that. Not sure I would like to sign up with star golf or something though.

since you are not totally new to the sport, why not take individual and just space your lessons out to fornightly or something. The cost wouldn't be as high and you are getting the full lessons duration from your coach.

Eiji: I have thought of that too but the problem is I do not actually know for sure what have been taught to me previously are useful at all. I can't hit a pitch or a chip or drive a ball even as of now. Been getting pretty consistent on irons though but my back hurts after every range session which I am not sure if its because of a posture problem or swing problem or just because my body not conditioned enough. That's why I've been thinking of redoing the whole beginner training all over again and as I've done one before I didn't feel I need to take individual beginner lessons.

Why don't you learn from videos like the series from David Leadbetter? These are available locally. A coach can correct your mistakes faster but following video instructions can help too. I think it is more fun, cheaper and may cover broader aspects of your game.
How far you progress will depend on other things too like your will power and physical abilities. Anyway, you already have the basics.
