| Hi, Anybody knows off hand what is the size for the 420 R9 head? .335 or .35? Am negotiating to buy the Fuji Motore F1 55 which is .335 but not sure of the 420 R9 head . I think its .335 but just want to be sure. Thanks.

| it depends on the hosel the head comes in....if you do not see a TP logo on the hosel, it is .350. if it comes with a TP logo, then its 0.335. i have attached the old and new hosel (shown here not TP version) for your reference. the new hosel is to lessen the load of the impact as well as lessen the load on the jaws of the hosel. DGman i have seen loads of fake of the earlier version but not the new ones. the best way to tell is to look for the mill marks on the jaws as well as at the top (ferrule area). the fake ones do not have any effect on adjustment and often the jaw do not fit properly. if you have any doubt, please bring it to the TM shop or you can make a trip to you know where. | |

| Tks Eric. IN fact was hoping for you to answer ha ha. Your answer will removed all doubts in me. OK I bot this R9 420 and have not got the chance to play it yet. I might be buying a Motore F1 55g R flex with TM TP tip. If the deal goes thru and in the near future, I might consider swapping this 55g with the 65g. Do you foresee any problems at all? tks.

titu as long as its a .335 shaft going into either .335 or .350 hosel, its no issue. we can either use a shim or metal beads as filler. cheers....DGman oh and you can try Lamts18 Kaili or a demo Ilima on a spare hosel. | |
