| hi guys, i'm looking for a club in the east, namely Laguna, Tanah Merah or NSRCC.
what are the pros and cons of the 3?
i'm also concerned about the land lease, with most expiring in about 10 yrs time. has there been any news that they might be renewed? if not what happens when it expires? will every member be asked to top up and move somewhere else or the club dissolves and any reserves distributed?
thanks for your kind advice.

| 1. How often do you intend to play golf? 2. Purpose of getting the club? 3. Budget? (like monthly maintenance and so forth) | |

| 1) hope to play every weekend 2) for golf and a place to hang out (dinner, drinks) if possible some sports like tennis/bowling too. 3) monthly is not too important, as i believe most are around $100-$200 monthly? if so that's ok. | |

| Well, i can't speak for Laguna or Tanah Merah. NSRCC is open to all males who have completed 2 years of NS. Memberships comes in 5/10 year terms. Ordinary membership for weekday golf only @Changi & Kranji. Full membership for weekday & weekend golf @Changi & Kranji. As for land lease, it's a national club for NSmen..do you think the land lease will expire?? Monthly Sub for ordinary @$25 and Associate @$30. Ordinary = Recallable for reservice Associate = Non recallable

| Cannot comment on Laguna but this is my take on TMCC & NSRCC
TMCC 1. Relatively easy to get flights on the weekends 2. Garden course gets packed but if on the waiting list, by Friday should get a flight 3. Tennis, Squash, Swimming, No Bowling, some kids stuff 4. Dinner at TMCC is mainly only the Chinese Restaurant, Not too bad food there 5. Monthly about $200
NSRCC 1. Can be quite hard to get a flight on weekends 2. Weekday flights tend to be plentiful but gets packed quite easily 3. Full Amenities 4. Quite a number of dinner options at NSRCC 5. Monthly is below $100 if not mistaken

| I doubt if the land lease will ever be an issue, the planes fly directly overhead, what else could they put there? | |

Any inside tips on how to play the course tmr? Your asking me?????? You guys practice and play more than me! Nothing too hard about it, all the trouble you can see from the tee, so aim away from it... Greens are ok at the moment, subtle breaks but nothing too stressful...
