| dragging this topic out again cos i've been following and adopting most of the teachings so far and i've seen quite a marked improvement on my ballstriking. anyone else here in the forum has tried this swing out? i'd love to go range with other students of the PPGS. haha
and ppl already looking at me funny when i address the ball with my knees wide apart and toes flared. haha thinking of getting his dvd soon! | |

| ironfist I also out of curiosity subscribed to the PPGS website and I was pretty impressed with what I seen. Although it is not Right Sided, there are many similarities between the swings. I really think the future of golf swings will be along the lines of a 3/4 turn, type swing. Many of the games better players are getting away from the long, loose, big turning type swings. All the best with it and hope you continue to improve. | |

| thanks for the words of encouragement RSC! yeah i felt that it suited me a lot better. the ppgs advocates a really quiet lower body (as opposed to the traditional swing where the hips have to clear very quickly to generate the torque) so as to allow your arms to swing the club faster. when i tried it out the first time i was surprised as to how fast i could swing the club! it gave me much more clubhead speed and i was finally able to launch balls with my long irons and hybrids. furthermore i don't have much flexibility so the limited turn was exactly what i needed. the only problem is that everything is learnt online and he doesn't seem to like putting up pictures describing what he teaches so it's all a bit like a guessing game. that and his website seems like a cheesy infomercial with all the testimonials and "that's not all" offers. hahaha but i'll definitely need to get my hands on the dvd soon. will come back here with my thoughts when i do! | |

| Yep, your arms/hands are attached to the club, not your hips. Get the arms moving faster and you definitely will increase leverage and club head speed. Probably much better for the body and less injuries as well. I love the way he dispells all the myths about traditional coaching.....my kind of coach!! Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the dvd. | |

| wow you compiled everything! haha nice one that's super helpful! one thing about the website though; it doesn't actually say if they are shipping the actual physical DVDs over. that and they've been pushing the "digital HD" version which allows you to view and download the videos online. i'd really prefer to have it as a DVD but the website just doesn't say. kinda sneaky on their part i think. so i'm sending them an email first to get to the bottom of this. | |
