| I believe Fit is imported directly, PI in the car term here in Singapore. It has smaller engine, 1.3 L comparing to Jazz's 1.4L....
That're the biggest difference.

| Anyone here knows how many golf bags can this car carry. Is it possible to carry 3 golfers with 3 bags? | |

| ask TheFocalPoint, he's driving a Fit/Jazz.
If you lower half the back seat, i think you can accomodate 3 golfer+3bags with no problems, i dun drive one so i can't really give a good answer.

| Both jazz and fit are the same. even tho they advertise the fit to be 1.3, and the jazz to be 1.4, they are essentially using the same engine, both around 1350cc. It's just that Kah motor advertised theirs to be 1.4 and thus the PI wants to make a distinction.
I believe that the new jazz and fit are both advertised to have 1.3L and 1.5L engines.
Main difference is that PI cars the radio is not sync with the local radio stations, so maybe you have to tune to 100.3 to listen to class 95. Something like that. I don't know hot that works, but that's wad happened to my friend's PI car.
And jazz u have kah motor to service ur car for u, fit u must have your own trusted service shop..
Other differences, you'd get the best information from car forums, namely the fitjazzclub. Not sure if that is still around. Other local car forums out there, but i cant remember what liao. Just do a google.
The boot space for a jazz (im driving one) is impeccable. In fact, the cabin space and boot space are quite amazing for a car that size. Has to do with how they lay out their fuel tank and gear box, your back seat's middle portion does not have that bridge bulging out. So the back seat floor is practically flat.
As for golf bags and boot, no problem putting 3 stand bags and 3 golfers. I have yet to try four, but that would be pushing it.
The backseat can be folded down flush, so you can have a two seater with a HUGE boot, like van. that i think you can fit 8 golf bags if you want, but not sure what that will do to you suspension.
Usually 3 ball drive to malaysia, 3 golf stand bags in boot, 3 boston bags in the back seat, 3 adult male in the car, no problem at all.
Hope this helps. | |

| Why size of rim is recommended for this car. I am being offered only 14". Focal is using 17" should I ask for 17" as well | |

| Pm Discoburg or Ahdan78 here. They are in the GE Club Sg Discoburg is the admin and mod of that forum. He has been driving a GE fit for 3 years now. Careful hor, Honda cars are very poisonous too. Balance out the spending between golf and cars. | |

Focal is using 17" should I ask for 17" as well personal choice, are you going for looks, economy, ride stability at fast cornering? 16" for GEs are just about right.

| korean cars are well prices and performance are not that bad. No hard looking at Hyundai Avante or Kia Forte. Not too bad.. Excellent boot size too!
if you are die hard japan fan, then the toyota Axio is for you, excellent FC and looks slick..
Honda is a bit over priced in my opinion.
I am a sedan type of guy.. hatchbacks just dun appeal to me..

| Both the PIs and Kah Motor carry the 1.3 and 1.5 versions. PI call them Fit, Kah Motor call them Jazz. Diff is in the pricing, horsepower and road tax.

| I remembered the last version of FIT and Jazz, there is a difference in terms of the nbr of spark plug..
FIT - uses 4 spark plugs JAZZ - used 8 spark plugs (slightly faster acceleration from standstill + fuel economy)
Not sure if this current version still the same........

| Honda Fit - PI model, which mean the car is made for japan use. So you will see all sign/sticker and even the manual book in jap. if it have a in build player, expect to receive your FM in difference frequency.
Honda Jazz - Local Agent Model, the car is made for Singapore use, so every lines will be in english. Some claim that its is made in Thailand ( you got to check it out)
Rim is standard 14", upsize to 1" or 2" is still acceptable, but will affect the car overall performance, esp the fuel consumption.
For a car at its class, it has the biggest boot space. 4 stand bags is no problem, but additional boston bags might not be able to fit in.
Jazz or Fit, let the price to help you make the decision. Ask for the OMV, item package it, and what kind of COE package

| i think not a good time to buy jap cars now. Yen is rather strong and make their cars more ex. Jazz is selling over 70k.. not worth it. I got mine at 52k only. do the math. | |

Seems like they give diff mileage as well. Yes. idsi vs Vtec - Vtec generate more power and better pickup rate. At the expense of the fuel consumption rate too...
