WTA: dishwasher

anyone uses one at home??

not currently but i did have experience with it when i was overseas. it only makes sense if you have plenty of dishes to wash, or if you can stand keeping dirty dishes in the washer and accumulate till it is relatively filled to wash. Still have to give the dishes a preliminary rinse to get rid of loose pieces of food before placing in the dishwasher.

Choco, I think it's quite rare for homes in our part of the world to have dishwashers. If any, they usually appear in condos since they appeal to ex-pats.

That said, I had a dishwasher when I was living in the US last year. Like eiji said, I only found it useful when there were many dishes to wash. More often than not, I just washed my dishes using the tap BUT a dishwasher is meant to help save water to if you constantly have heaps of plates, cutlery, glasses etc to wash after each meal, a dishwasher may not be a bad option.

dishwasher: uses more water n electricity....seriously

better invest in a housekeeper than a dishwasher.....jmho
