| Hi, We are planning a week in shenzhen for golf during the march break and looking to play at least 1 game in Mission Hills on weekday. The other days, we would like to try other good courses that are not so expensive.
Any advice on which course and how we can book?
Thanks | |

| Firestone is a nice course. Very enjoyable. Was there back in Dec.
Wind Valley was featured in the Jan 10 Golf Digest version. Heard its challenging but enjoyable. Century Seaview is another scenic course and difficult one I heard. Worth checking these out if you want a challenge.

I am planning to play Nansha this weekend. What rates did you get and how was the courese? i am planning to play all 36 holes. Firestone was RMB$930 for Saturdays mornings (nice course). Mission Hills RMB$1150, i didnt try Nan Sha but was told i miss out one of the better ones in Shenzhen .. the green fees were 700 to 800 RMB.. as for caddies , very powerful .. if you ask me ...

| I was there during Christmas period till end of last year. Played Firestone and Wind Valley.
Weather was cold Firestone was still alright, about 13 to 14 degree But Wind Valley was real cold....its situated on top of a mountain and you can see clouds passing thru you....played in conditions of 8 to 9 degrees and I was wearing only skins and long pants....but I dun feel cold at all. The skins from BFG really works
My reviews: Firestone is average. But you must really try Wind Valley. By far the nicest course I played. Sometimes you can even see wild foxes on the green. The elevation changes are stunning. There was a par 3 200m. In between the blue tee and the green is a big ravine, so u either make it or ............
Enjoy | |

| Bros, do you bring your golf set when playing overseas or rend one there? Is it expensive to rent one in Shenzhen?
I read from the other forum which give some mix comment on the ShenZhen City golf course. Some said it is boring as it is surrounded by concrete, some said the course it nice. Any comment?

If you are there for golf, I would advise bring your own set. The courses in SZX is definitely nice.....but I can only review those I've been to. But then each has his/her own views. Generally its much better than Sg courses.
