golf instructor MIA during lesson

When I started, I made the mistake of using clubs that were standard length. I'm 6ft 2in and should have been using clubs that were +0.5" longer and 1.5* to 2* upright.

As a result, shots that were on plane and struck well ended up fading no matter what I did. To compensate, I altered my swing path and face angle to get the ball to just go straight.

Till this day, even with properly fitted clubs, I am still struggling to unlearn the old habits and still cannot hit a draw to save my life. I'm getting there, but I wish I got properly fitted to begin with...

I'm a noob who's been lurking around until signing up today. Been following this thread closely since I've just started lessons at Sin Ming myself.

Just wanna say "thanks" to all contributors to this thread. It really gives noobs like me a valuable headsup on what issues i might face during this long journey of GOLF.
