YUJI GOLF

Hi,

Was in River Valley road and happened to see this YUJI golf run by this jap. they do measurement of yr clubs (against yr swing). Suppose to tell you if the club fits you and give a print out of the clubs stats. Charges $50.

Quite tempted to try, but worry try liao means news clubs haha. Anyone has feedback on this YUJI shop?

i think it comes with free lesson frm mr yuji himself after u get his irons.
my friend was fitted maybe 3 years ago and he seems really pleased.
i see great improvement with his long irons and distance using yuji.
before yuji he would change irons like underwear but he has been very faithful with yuji.

i think no matter what clubs u go in with......he will tell u that a fiitted yuji is better than stock irons....isnt that what fitters supposed to say?

Yuji was on of the first successful club fitters in Singapore since the early 1990s.

He designed a very popular set of beginner & intermediate clubs for Maruman previously.

He is rather formal (like many older Japanese) until you get to know him better.

His wife Serene is very helpful & freindly.

Yuji probably is a golf club design & mechanical genius.

He designed most his own clubfitting precision-machined tools and swing analysis methods.

He has fixed a few of my drivers previously and I was measured for swing speed by him a few years ago.

He keeps a database of all your specs for reference whenever you need other golf-related services.

He has designed irons, putters and woods.

Most of his clients are Japanese and some ang mos.

All if not most of the senior SPGA pros and local golf club regulars know who he is.

I only tried his irons and woods while swing analysis.

Sounds good. Probably spend the $50 for club analysis and see how it goes.

Tell him or Serene that Steven formerly from Where2Golf magazine recommended Yuji Golf to him.

Maybe he will give me more strokes the next time I play golf with him at Batam Hills later this year.
