| Hi everyone, came across this forum by chance and found it really it really informative. I picked up golfing 4 years ago but had to stop coz had a baby. Recently started going to the range again and hubby and I have a renew interest in golf!
question: i accumulated some scorecards few years back coz was hoping to take my handicap test, can I still use them if i wanna take the test soon? Which club is recommended for beginners like me to take handicap test? Any recommendations are welcome!
Thanks! | |

| Hi
Yes , u can , just tat your HCP will start from 36 (max) Please refer this web for more info.
http://www.singaporegolfers.org/
Yes , u need to join them as a member .
$70 ( mem fee) + $20 (one time entrance fees) + $30 (workshop)+ $60( courtesy round for hcp test ) = $180
To maintain hcp by them , its $70 per annual and particpate at least 4 games with SSG.

| hi techospaz, eiji, blee2007, thank you thank you!
crystal, i will discuss with hubby. But i read in the website that membership is limited now and need an existing member's recommendation. How? You are already a member?
so only the society doesn't require you to have scorecards? I am checking out NSRCC too coz i stay near there but they need scorecards from their own course, outside courses not accepted i think... | |

| cool! thanks crystal!! But i need a seconder as well... Are their tournaments expensive? I saw that there are some local and overseas tournaments. cool! i like nsrcc par 3 course, maybe near the sea so its breezy... but also crowded so feel quite rush esp since my group are not that pro and we scared to hold up the next flight. am considering the 1st Feb Bintan game, asking another gal friend. will update in the other thread | |
