Jojo is bored and wants a PS3 / PS3slim / xbox360

Any advice?

Prices?

I'm more inclined to the PS3 cos i do know that it can also play blu ray movies. + internet.. =p

I'm super bored and miserable so I thought playing L4D would cheer me up and entertain me more. haha...

L4D? got license boh? i oso wan to play tht, heard so much but nvr try....

Dig out all the Today papers and do all the suduko puzzles.

Cheaper and more environmentally friendly.

But somehow I really want to play Gear of War 2 on Xbox... sigh...

Personally, I think the PS3 is the best. The games are pretty darn good (more for adult gamers). The Blu-ray function is also a great add-on.

The Wii is the more familiy-oriented of the lot. The games are decent but more kiddie-like. I do, however, like the motionplus feature which now gives gamers fantastic control over the controller. What used to be movement on just x and y axis has not become movement on the x, y and z axis. What this means is that for sports games, you can actually spin the ball by rotating your wrist.

The XB360 is a good combination of the two, in terms of games. It caters for adult gamers as well as family gamers. Graphics-wise, I think it's decent and arguably comparable with the PS3 though some may argue otherwise (since the PS3 has better a better graphics processor).

Let me know which one you decide on

Hmm... ok.

Frankly, the 360 has some really good games. The PS3 seems to have lost some of the PS-only titles such as Final Fantasy. PS3 exclusives like Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, GT5 are attractive but I don't know if they justify the purchase.

ok, not an expert, so will take your word for it i guess it could be the game developers then.. have seen some reviews comparing graphics for certain games that are on both xbox360 and ps3, and the xbox seems to come out tops most (not all) of the time....

Coincidentally, I was thinking of buying a PS3 Slim or an XBOX 360 myself....
The GF is tending towards the XBOX while I think the PS3 is better on account of

1. Free In-built WiFi
2. Remote Controllers that can be charged
3. Free access to online play (50 USD a year for XBOX)
4. Bluetooth Connectivity
5. Blu-Ray Player

All in all a good combo deal for a casual gamer like me All set to press the button on Sunday and get a PS3 Slim unless there is an executive decision from the significant other

ya... i heard about MW2. I just got the game for one of my cousins...

He got GTA4 and Metal solid gear something... I wasnt ard when he bought it. I was lying half dead on my bed. LOL....
