TFP, you can actually use Facebook application "golf game" to keep track of your stats...
I am using it now...not too bad la...and "friends" can admire from there also....

Yeah, I like the Facebook golf game application also, it has a wide variety of courses, even for MY courses, and their stats tracker is quite professional, can see a lot of factors like avg driving distances, current posted rd vs last 3 rds, handicap calculation etc etc.... very cool

worth a try, post on GR also can lah, with a 85 score, a lot of pple will admire, but hard to really keep track properly...

alternatively, you can create your own excel sheet and input after each game and do a comparison after every 5-10 games scored...

I think I need to stop playing golf so seriously and start enjoying the game. I shot my best scores when I was chilled out and just playing to enjoy, rather than playing for low scores.

I don't know what to say lor. Whoever, whatever people or I say u also want to guai lan. ARGH!

Personally, I would rank the importance as follow: -

1. Short game, i.e. chipping and putting
2. Arriving
3. Driving

A good drive will set one up for arriving the green in regulation. So why is it not rank no. 1 in my list? Because I believe recovery and/or the approach shot is more important. As long as you don't drive OB or into hazzards where you incur penalty strokes, you still can get a chance to save par or get decent scores.

TFP, I think your thread kinda backfired a little. If you ask me, the one thing I'll take away from your original post and the discussion which has followed is that you'll have to give me 5-5 when we play. Thanks

TFP posted one stat, generated so many discussion...this won't be helpful at all at keeping track because your post will be sparsedly spread out all over the pages..one suggestion for the forum is to implement a score tracking module
