I apologize for not being able to arrange for a lunch in JB but given the time, it would have been difficult. Next time, can?
To my flightmates: Birdman, Nientsu and Duval_S, you guys were freakin' hilarious. What a joy it was to play with such an amazing bunch of golfers. I'm still reeling from Birdman's organic range finder (Bushnell, eat your heart out!!).
Played well the 1st nine but mucked up the 2nd nine but overall, was pleased with my score. I heard someone got a 79 or 80... I wonder who
Till our next game (which may be for some time for me), thanks again everyone!
(Special thanks to CT and the drivers today for arranging and ferrying the golfers from and back to Singapore!!) the one that scored 80, says his handicap is 16, *cough* buaya *cough* anyway thanks Jason, great work organising, and sorry our flight quite anti-social, chop chop start and chop chop finish and run road chop chop still took us 5 1/2 hrs due to all the waiting for the flights ahead...

| Thanks TS for organising the game...it was great fun! Thanks CT for organising the transport and other misc admin "sai kang" Apologies to everyone in the convoy for taking the wrong turn and therefore not being able to get us there in time to tee off at 7.30 am...many thanks to Wongster for being my navigator also... I had great flightmates in MC, dunlookback and CP...and finished today's game feeling humbled by not only my flightmates' distance off the tee, amazing recovery shots and touch on the greens but a certain 16 handicapper's "buayaing" skills too... . Thanks guys! Thanks MC for your encouragement and advice...I really appreciate it because I was certainly overawed in the first 2-3 holes watching you tee off, such that it affected my game too. Luckily it got a bit better after that. Now I'm certainly motivated to work hard and enlist a pro's help to get better! Oh and Birdman you should go into the comedy business...you're certainly funny enough! | |

To my flight mates DunLookBack, Mizz & MC who've seen the best and worst of my "game", thanks for the many encouragements! And yes, likewise of Mizz, I'm now much more inspired to get my game on track. And guys... Its not 80... Its 79 *cough*buaya*cough*

| i had a great time as well and having personally witnessed Wongster's tiger line shot from the tee box saying a great "hullo!!" to the preceding flight at the green, Botak's help in helping me search for all my waywards shots and not forgetting vy_vy... well lets just say u better not bet with her for tee shot... I sure had great company!!
Also would like to thank the great company of the preceding flight as well where we had the great opportunity to meet up on quite a number of holes to share in the banter....
Thanks to TS for organising and CT for her coordination..
Hope to play with you guys soon!!!

| Hi guys & ladies Thank U for the game. Special thanks to Jason the organizer & Crystal the secretary for the time & co-ordinations. And also to our Mr Nice Guy driver Allen for his kopi & transportaton, Birdman for entertaining us thru out the journey. Only some delayed by Birdman & gang causes us not able to have a good lunch at JB after waited for almost 2 hrs at the club house. I was very impressed by Maur Chee for his powerful tee-off. So high, so far & so straight. Very nice indeed! Really the pro standard liao. I wonder is he a Pro already? I have downloaded the pictures in the flickr wesbite. | Poor MC.... in his defence, the course not really tough la, short enough from the blue tees, shorter from the white which he played from. And his putting was good, so sure score what. With his lenth, he's approaching every hole with just wedge in hand, and hybrid at most for the par 5s. As for comedy... not for me, just clowning around, adding to the atmosphere. | |

| Our flight play hero some more when their buggy got stuck on the curb climbing up from the slope of the 2nd hole of palm nine. But maybe too old to do that already, Techno hurt his back a wee bit for a short while, and Duval's tempo got confused for awhile. | |

| Wow, guess i am a little too late to post this here, but i still must say Kudos to the Techno, Crystal and our beloved driver al1388 for the wonderful teh-si and ride, and also our great entertainer Birdman throughout the car ride. Thanks for giving us an insight to the culture in Middle East and also Japan, and I am sure you have first hand experience ( not hear say lar, hahahaha). What a small world to bump into my 'sista' brother 'DunLookBack' at the green, and i will try my very best to pull your sis for at least 1 game with us next time. I must say i enjoyed the game , the company , the green and despite not able to make it to the restaurant that was highly recommended by Birdman, the whole trip was GREAT today! Birdman : You have redeemed yourself by entertaining us on the way back.. DaiJoBu Desu | |

https://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=140108&id=650092965&l=4188c5604c Hi Raquel Actually we took about 4 hrs 45 mins to finish our game. We hv to wait for about 20 minutes to tee off at the first hole. Tnk we started around 8.30am & finished around 1.15pm. The pace is just right for us. In fact, there were some delayed in our flight as well cos of our buggy cannot moved due to low battery. We had requested to change buggy 3 times. And many a times we need our flight mate's buggy to push our buggy from behind. If not, we have to help to push & drag the buggy out off the slope. No fun lei! Even to the extend that a japanese guy behind our flight also came an offer his help to get our buggy out on track again. I think probably becos u let others overtake u that's y !! Doesn't matter lah! Is OK! Small matter..No worries

| 3 cheers to the flight behind us, for being patient and such a good sport; not stressing or chasing us to move on faster. :p yupe, my other flight mate's buggy got stuck. thanks to the nice gentlemen who came walking up galantly to rescue the damsels in distress. civilary is not dead in Singapore. p/s: just a thought. if i had left my club behind, nobody will ask for my phone number and would most gladly return to me without demand. ha ha. cos i am definitely not the long faired sweet japanese girl. | |
