| Hi there
I am not too sure if this is really the most read forum in golf or nobody is interested in playing golf in JB anymore or this forum is Dead? I have posted 3 times inviting kakis to play on weekdays in JB and is not getting a single reply. Is there something that I am missing or must I provide free game and transport as well to get someone interested.

| Hi
Yes you are right that this is not the most read forum and this forum is no longer the place to find players to golf with.
I would strongly suggest you try joining other Facebook golf groups and download phone apps like Deemples.

| Most golfers have their own khakis and form their own flights, and some golfers don't like to play with strangers. Golfers don't just play golf, they look for great company too, so it takes effort to blend in. If you want overwhelming response, could consider giving out free SICC or Sentosa game. The queue will be longer than the McDonald's Hello Kitty queue. | |

| Alberto, what do you think about screen golf? If you are available on weekdays afternoon, I'll have a round of screen golf with you. You don't have to provide me free game or transport, just good company. I'm the owner of HappyGolf and it is not crowded here on weekday afternoon. Message me if you are interested. | |

| Hi Alberto,
No too sure about the rest but I don't go JB and play anymore. The travel is too much a hassle. I rather play in MBGC in SG during weekday.

| Majority of golfers I know has given up golfing in JB with all the hassle of going thru, immigration, jam, high toll..I used to drive every week without failed to Poresia now stop playing golf for 2 years, trying to sell off a thousand golf ball no response, fed up I called my kaki gave him all..boot full!
Another thing is Tiger Wood has faded away so does a lot of golfers who wants to be like Tiger! ~~ Faded away with the Tigermania! Still remember early 90s ~ 2000 if u visit OCC range or Jalan Kayu range (Closed for good) its so full you have to wait for the next golfer to vacate!! Today these places is practically empty!

| I think the thrill of golfing in JB has faded. Most golfers (if they are keen to travel) will head to Bintan, Batam or somewhere via air. Travelling into JB for golf is simply a nightmare these days. | |

How about trying out screen golf? We offer a facility where you can play 18 holes indoor, not as good as traditional golf but definitely more convenient. HappyGolf facility is not a dark pub or dark cave, we are bright and minimalist. Run by Golf enthu and not golf pros.

Golf at Batam includes caddie, but can the golfers request for no caddie?
