| By the way, what is the difference between the white GRAMAN 5 & 6 series? Does it means that 6 is stiffer then5? | |

| Hi ... the Graman White #5 is a superlight shaft for medium to hard hitters i.e. swing speed 90mph to 120 mph (shaft weight 63 - 67g) ... whereas the #6 is a ultralight for smooth and medium hitters for swing speed 70mph up to 95 mph . (shaft weight 51 -54g)
Old man like me , can only play the 4 of 6 series which i have and they are stable shafts .... one other shaft worth considering is the Kajiki and Stinger :-)
Perhaps BFG would like to confirm ..
Thanks and have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

| Mengteck71.....
if you have a slower swing tempo a lighter shaft will be more suitable, but if you have a faster swing tempo , a heavier shaft will work better. besides this we need to consider the golfers' physical condition.
for the 6 series, it comes in A, R and S flex - cpm untipped is 226 to 248 at 45 inch. the torque is lowest in its class at about 3.0 degree, lower than the 4 series. Net weight trimmed is about 51 to 53 g.
for the 5 series, it comes in R, S and X flex - cpm untipped is 238 to 258 at 48 inch. the torque is 2.5 degree. Net weight trimmed is about 63 to 67 g.
the BFG Graman has a stable and responsive feel because of the way we lay the prepeg at different points of the shaft. so what it means is we can have 2 different golfers who swing at 100 mph using either shaft, but it all depends on their tempo and preference for the shaft wieght. All BFG Graman shafts are Mid kick, but we can trim the tipped to change the kick properties. thats why they all come standard at 48 inch raw.
hope it helps....

| DG Man,
A question on Graman shafts, what does it mean by a shaft with Regular Stiff shaft vs Stiff rated stiff? Is the difference in launch and ball flight.

| Eric, thanks. U already fitted my driver with Graman 5 and it is working well. Just that I dunno if it's R or S and only wanted to know cos it's not printed on the shaft like most shafts. | |
