Marathon Classic Preview, Pairings, and More.

This week the LPGA moves to the state of Ohio for the playing of the Marathon Classic presented by Owens Corning and O-l. 

Many may remember last year's exciting conclusion when Chella Choi fired a final round 66, to force a playoff with Ha Na Jang. Choi would go on to win the playoff. Lydia Ko and Shanshan Feng finished just 1 shot back.

Congrats to Lydia Ko for winning this tourney in the sudden death playoff against Ariya J and Mirim Lee. They were all -14 after the final round.

The sudden death play off was well managed by Lydia, many times she would have lost to either Ariya or Lee but it was her composure that led to her final victory.

Well done!!!

That is one thing good about Korean female LPGA golfers ... Very composed and steady even in the heat of the moment and/or after making mistake. In contrast, just look at Rory Mcilroy in The Open, he broke his 3 wood into two to vent his frustration after making a bad shot with it.

BTW, Henrik Stenson won the Open at -20 ... Lefty PM was 3 shots behind.
