Any kakis keen to play tomorrow afternoon at MBGC?

This long Par 6 hole green is protected by trees and hence it is hard to attack to achieve 3 On. Unless your 3rd short is long and high, better to layout to about 100 or less yards to the flag. Those very long and accurate hitter can do 2 On but not many can do that unless one is a single or scratch golfer. Many single handicappers are not long hitter in fact ...

Par 6 and 3 on? I can't even 3 on for par 5. 

Anyone one wanna join in?

I playing with a 56 year old gentleman that can drive 250m

Then you may end up double bogey this hole ... Better to stretch your expectation so that you could at least achieve a bogey if not a Par ...

Finally completed 18 holes at the semi new layout

The par 6 is jus an extension of the old par 5.

You need to have a good 2nd and 3rd shot to place the approach properly. 

Left is preferred as that will take the trees out of play

I was 4 shots about 15m off the green. Wasn't able to get up and down 

Conclusion for the par 6 is to miss left or miss short of the hole. Makes the play into the 2 tier green easier. If short of the hole, will be an uphill chip. Left side in wont be so fast. 

Finished with a respectable bogey. Today was playing somewhat off "blacks" as the tee boxes was pushed all the way to the back for some holes.

2 weeks ago I joined flight and met this gentleman who is 56 and drives a mile. As well as a beginner who hits the ball darn far, but jus need more green time

3 of us can click and we kept in touch

Today I played with the 56 year old gentleman. 2 of us.

Lucky never bet with him. 

Hole 18. He drove the ball so far. He only has 200m left to the green. It's a par 5

We played from the blues

Just played on Wednesday as well.  If you cannot on in 3, safer to play left of green.  Suit those who can do a strong fade
