| Welcome welcome.
For used equipment, you can alway try your luck at Far East Shopping Centre or Creative Golf @ 333 kreta ayer road.
For coach, do you prefer male or female coach? Justin Han is a leftie, he is located at seletar country club.

| Since you have not started to pick up golf, I would suggest that u learn to play righty as you may reap good dividends for doing that ... | |

| Good to try right handed. My female friend is left handed, but plays right handed. And yes, I recommended her to Justin (Seletar CC), he let her try but left and right handed clubs and she somehow preferred to play right handed. | |

| You get more options buying right handed clubs plus the second hand sale value and demand for right handed clubs are better. | |

| It is not easier to get mens' lefty clubs and it will be worse for womens' ones; gloves will be another problem as well.
I know as I am a lefty.
If starting fresh then it is as difficult for you to learn left handed as right handed.

| If one is a lefty and play righty, you would be more powerful and more control in your swing as the dominant hand in golf swing is your leading hand which is left hand for righty. | |

| My son's a lefty, when he started lessons, the coach also asked him to start off as a righty. I suppose, in the future, it would also be much easier to buy equipment, etc. | |

| Yes better to be a rightie. More club choices means cheaper. | |

| Left or Right, its all a matter of preferencee. As long as u feel comfortable with the clubs u have, it is totally ok. As long as u find playing fun.
Btw sent you (Kel) the PM but so far haven't heard from u.

| Hi All, I am a Newbie Leftie just joined today. Malaysian Chinese, aged 77, play golf 46 years @ Subang Golf Club, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia - and still USGA 21!
Seriously looking to buy a whole new set of sticks as follows:
LH Driver 10.5, 460cc, R or A Flex, graphite shaft 39gm weight; 3 & 5 Fairway Woods, same Flex, graphite 41-43gm weight shafts - all LH; Hybrids/Rescues 4 & 5, same Flex, slightly heavier gm weight than FWs - all LH; LH Iron Sets, same Flex, around 45-50gm weight, graphite.
I believe my best bets are Japanese brands - Mizuno (understand one of their 2016 offerings is a 10.5,460cc Driver of 41gm weight? and full Iron set of 47gm weight - but not sure got LH!), XX10 9 Series 2016 (but Iron set 54gm weight graphite - too heavy now for this "chungkul" golfer! etc
Malaysia not friendly to Lefties, and I believe I can get better choices in Singapore - and many more sales there!
If there's any Lefties out here who can help me - either buy brand-new off-the-shelf sets of the Specs I mentioned, or Custom-fit set - kindly let me know details - and I will gladly fly down to Spore pronto!
Thanking You All and, Sorry, only to Lefties!
