| Get a ball that suits your swing speed. Other factors include feel, distance, bite on green and putting roll. | |

| mark the good balls. buy them in bundles when they are on sale. whenever i loss a new ball, am taking it as a lesson fees to play better game. the more ex the ball, e higher spin on green, to me is better short game (though am still playing high scores). | |

| I keep trying different balls to see which gives me good feel and results(thought I'm a newbie), so far I like the TM Noodle Long & Soft(prev by Maxfli). First time with it got 2 birdies 2 holes apart though I'm a very high hcp player. | |

| My favourite ball is Prov1x but I don't mind TPx as the latter is considered very good for the price I am paying ... | |

| Thanks for the feedback and articles! I've wanting to try those premium balls w high spin but there are some people who say that the high spin will also work against u when u slice or hook the ball (the unintended slice/hook will be worse than when using a low spin ball). Is that true? | |

| @brendanzhuo, yes the slice and hooks get more pronounced. Spin is 3 dimensional, if the backspin can get more intense, so can sidespin. For some players who like to work the ball like Bubba Watson, its a good thing.
For the rest of us, well work your way through softer multi layer balls first and see your preference. | |

| in the early days of my golfing , Golf Balls in black number are 100% compression n Number in Red is 90% compression. Lower compression balls are for lady. The better one is Balata Ball n a dozen costs $100+. if u cut up a ball , the inner core is made by thin rubber string wound into a ball about 25 mm in diameter. There are cases where the ball splits into 2 during play. your kaki will choose the half that you have to finish the hole. | |
