whoa!!....does that mean that if you get the card, you will be on the OneAsia tour? Does it also allow you to go into Asian tour? Sorry for this dummy question.....as I can only dream about this.....due to my significant lack of talent....

Then i wish you all the best when you turn pro in aussie land... But sometimes i petty those aussie pros while playing the aussie tour, they have to pull their own golf carts....

| It wont be a Tour Card, if you do your 3 year Trainee ship your Oz card will be recognised in Europe.
The OZ PGA and PGA Tour are run by different departments....
If you are going down just for Oz Q school that is different as they are now linked with the One Asia Tour, but even they do not have ties with Europe.

If you graduate from 3 year traineeship in Oz, you can't play on any tour. At best you will be able to play in some local Pro-Am events. A traineeship will make you a member on The Aust PGA which means you are able to be an instructor, club fitter/repairer, Club Pro or tournament player. To play on Tour you must go to the Q-School tournament and earn a card. If you are a good player and by that I mean you are regularly shooting below par , have the occasional 65 or 66 and have had success at amateur level (winning junior or amateur tournaments) then a 3 year traineeship is not the best option. If you are a player, then go to the Q-School and try your luck. If you are a 1 or 2 handicap and 72 is a good score for you then best to do the traineeship and focus on coaching, club fitting etc. I know so many unbelievable players that are shooting 5, 6 under when playing social golf and can't make a $ on tour. It is a tough road and only a very small percentage of golfers can make a living on Tour. I hope this info helps and good luck with it all
