Bro, I was invited by my msia friend to participate in a tournament at Horizon Hill this Sunday afternoon but I declined the offer due to a game in the morning. You may wish to check with the clubhouse if the above is true so that you can have alternate plans.

I just called to check, 15 flights tournament tee off 1pm. We can tee off before them.

Good question, I believe some of us in the list are also without handicap cards.

Don;t worry about handicap cards..
Normally they dun check. If they ask, just say Handicap 20.

Pardon me for being honest, but i dun think Horizon Hills would be suited to really beginner players. It's just too tough, and the caddies would definitely not give you a nice time.. Trust me bro, I really don't think that you'd appreciate the pace of play and I'm quite sure you dun wanna spend your time always picking up your ball and walking forward just to keep pace.

No offence intended in this post, but Horizon Hills is crowded on Sundays, and there's a tournament starting at 1pm.. If next week weekday you wanna go leisurely golfing, I'm on!..

I agree..... The caddies there all super hopeless. All look pretty only.....and seriously face macham kena humtam bolah.

Its narrow, and bunkers there are quite strategically placed. greens are a killer too. Honestly I think HH is extremely pricey and over-rated. I dunno bout you...but the first time i played there, i felt claustophobic because the surrounding terrace houses were so near.

RM170 can fetch you 2 games in some JB courses.

TFP, your post about HH being so difficult is giving me second thoughts...my average is about 100...I don't want to make the ppl in my flight not to enjoy their game...plus there's a tournament teeing off at 1 pm somemore....

TFP, thanks for the encouragement...I have this image of everyone playing off single handicaps and waiting for me all day to finish hitting my balls. Whatever the case, as long as I don't make ppl unhappy, I will definitely enjoy myself!

HH greens normally run at 9.5 to 10, so on downhill putts, need to be careful. Fairway are not too tight, but they are a lot hazards or OB. If you 1st time playing there, check with the caddy.
