| Santa came yesterday and brought me all my toys for next year. Driver, named Shockwave. Did not bring to my specs, but I let Planer hit it yesterday and he wanted to buy on the spot. So that is good news... It sits nicely behind the ball, the last one was a bit disapointing this fella looks great! The irons though are awesome, forged with a bit smaller head than the PI7's I am useing... had to swap out the shafts... (thanks DG Man and staff) but they sit and feel fantastic... Fairway woods I am going with is 15 and 18 degree, named fybrid they have slightly smaller head and heavier sole. Also available in 19.5 and 21 degree.... The new balls also seem to be great, Wilson have really stepped it up for 2010. Headcovers.... The clubs 1st outing is GR day on Friday so may need a bit of fine tuning..... If you want to try the driver or hybrids I have at laguna, just let me know... Sorry for pic quality I am not a great photo taker also before anyone jumps up and down, it does not matter if Wilson sell 10 or 10 million units I make nothing.... I am mearly passing on information! PS I have no idea why the link to Twitter is there, if anyone can remove thanks, has taken 2 hours to do this... easier to play 9 holes! | |

| SH, removed those links for you. Hope the final product suits you ... and, yes, you are flight #1 on the 10th Tee. I want to be flight #2 cause I don't want to slow you down and I don't want your golf ball hurtling towards my skull as I plow away on the course | |

How u remove links? damn computers give me 200m water carry anyday....... Yeah, I saw cyp_PGA play at the range and I was worried that we may get hauled up for damaging the cranes located beyond the boundaries of the range... and he was only using a 3W!!! I had to manually remove the links from your post. You only need to use the [ img ] and [ /img ] tags. The other tags were causing the issue. | |

| Wow!! Wilson really stepped up to the plate this time. Nice! I presume you'll play even better on 28 Dec, after the trial during the charity game. | |

| Ok, well here we go.............. I played 27 holes this morning, due to course maintanance a lot of the holes had no flags, they were sanding, so did not keep score to much. The lady Pro had to leave early but the male Japanese Pro joined so balanced out. I used 3 balls, V1*, Bridgestone 330 and Wilson FGTour. Irons are fantastic... we swapped the shafts from the old ones so no difference there. The flight is a tad higher, but the lofts are slightly different so to be expected. 3 Wood off tee and deck is great, good distance and nice trajectory. 5 wood still unsure about, I hit some awesome shots at the range, but on the course just ok, the fact that I did it at the range tells me it is my brain causeing the issue.. If I am not totally committed to the shot it goes wonky, so I just need to hit a couple more good ones to get comfotable and it will be fine. The driver though..... I used to use 8 degree with heavy shaft, I have gone different direction, trying the 10 degree with lighter shaft. Today it did not pay off... I hit 90% of fairways, so accuracy is great, but not sure yet whether the increase loft is sucking distance or the shaft when it runs in will help. The longest I hit was 230m so will need to run in a lot.... | |
